CFBL 2013, Year #24
Crushers Top Dogs in Family Rivalry
New Rule: We instituted a new drafting rule this year. Previously, draft slots were determined by bids, but the league for several years had been spending less and less for the top picks. From now on, draft slots will be picked in the reverse order of the previous year's regular season standings, with the champion being given the last pick.
With the untimely passing of CFBL original, Tim Howe, Eric Gebhardt joined the league as the St. John's Saints.

They were joined by the #6 Saints. The Casuals fell in the the first week of the playoffs; the Clubbers joined them the next week.
The Crushers got off to a good start (4-0), besting the Dogs (3-1) by seven points. The Oakies fell out of it with an 0-4 start. The Dogs showed their might with a 4-0 2nd week, going into the last week with the lead to lose. Unfortunately for them, the Crushers cam back at 4-0, and the Saints edged out the Dogs, giving the title to the Crushers. The #1 Rats never got traction and got buried by the Liberato Machines.
Post-season standings:
10-2 Crushers
9-3 Dogs
7-5 Saints
